Well “Transition” is an interesting word DON’T YOU THINK, and much more ”A Fascinating” process.

This summer has broken all the heat & drought records, If you’ve lived it you know what I’m Sayin. {STILL happening while I’m writing this, but I’m counting that the Transition will come soon}.

No blogging for me this summer, mainly for the very reason I started this blog… “Keeping a positive outlook on life”.

Honestly I have found it a bit of a challenge to do just that in these extreme dog days. Electric bills through the roof, extensive repairs do to heat, Precious metal prices at an all-time crazy high, NO Rain to refresh the Ions….blablabla.

I realized I had to fight this thing called “Summer Sadness” (new to me) there has never been a summer like this…AND it’s not just my imagination. Depressed yet? DON’T BE! Here are some helpful tips for any kind of slump. WORD!

I’m an 80′z kinda guy, But…It’s all about making Transitions these days.

Fill your glass half full and enjoy. —  The scriptures have plenty to say about enjoying life. God bless you ;) 

Count your blessings you’ll find they are many if you’ll take note! Really…Make a list!

Variety is the Spice of……

With a new Variety of computers, Operating systems, software’s etc.

It’s been a fast track of “MAKE IT WORK!”)

The point is; Adaptation. Things come & go…Keep movin!
 

When I started my web site that was a good thing, then that progressed to a blog…that was a good thing, The idea of letting people know who I am should be good for business!

Still weighing that one, “How much can one person keep up with?”

People of late have been asking probing questions of,

“How I conduct my business,What makes it/ me tic”

Not in the virtual world MIND you, but in my Face To Face conversations.

I try to explain, but I guess it’s hard for some people to get a grasp on how someone makes their living / their life around being a craftsman?

OR! It could be that my face to face conversation skills are a bit lacking when I’m in my right (Mind) brain mode.

 (which is where I like to stay most of the time, it’s much more comfortable for me there).

Variety is the Spice of …

The blog has been getting a little dusty for the sake of my mini blogging (facebook).

It’s like making a piece of jewelry, The blog being a really in-depth thought provoking piece of art vs. facebooking, a fairly simple piece (but it still has to look good and convey a message). Simple being the key wording. 

Both are good… I think? I Must communicate in a variety of ways they tell me.

OR! I could be Kick starting the left brain, I have to have reminders every now & then That Variety is a GOOD Thing & To think outside my box. Simple is not always good….
 

Variety is the spice of…
 

All to say this..Over my 27 years as a jeweler I have focused my energy on being a craftsman. The Business or shop as I refer to it, is just a means to access the craftsman.

 

I am a jeweler that is dedicated to Custom Design and service. If you have jewelry needs? Be it designing something from the family heirlooms or just repairing those heirlooms and keeping them original OR starting from all brand new materials, I enjoy being able to help with your ideas and/or help you find new ideas. I have worked to incorporate a wide variety of styles, techniques and variety of skills into my career to be able to offer a better range of service.

The Variety of anything keeps you ever learning I hope/suppose is a good thing.

It’s all about the Variety of “Life Under The Golden Rays”.

A custom made White Gold bracelet with a Yankee Rose Quartz for a long time Client.

 

The client brought in a found object; This Shell and wanted to wear it with his Sterling Angel Wing so I fabricated this custom pendant setting.

 

 

One of our restoration projects on a Gold Rolex band rebuild.

     

   

All work is done in the shop and I can use your materials to create something new and/or trade.

We are open Thursdays & Fridays or you can make an appointment for other days.
